Dr. Eric J. B. Shapiro practices as part of University Hospitals Medical practices with Gastroenterology Associates and has admitting privileges at UH Case Medical Center and UH Bedford Medical Center, UH Ahuja Medical Center, UH Richmond Medical Center and UH Geauga Medical Center.

Training & Education

Board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Shapiro received his medical degree from Cases Western Reserve University, School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at University Hospitals, through Case Western Reserve University.

Special Interests

Dr. Shapiro practices general gastroenterology with a special interest in the interactions between food, nutrition and health.

In his spare time, Dr. Shapiro enjoys skiing, reading, listening to music, exercising and cooking.
